5 Reasons to Visit or Revisit Disneyland Paris in 2020

By TakeTheFamily

Two theme parks in one - Disneyland Park with Sleeping Beauty's Castle and most of the well-known rides, and Walt Disney Studios Park with its cinema-studio ‘lots’, movie-themed shows and handful of rides – Disneyland Paris is within easy reach of both the French capital and London, the latter by direct Eurostar. It also has a range of hotels for all budgets, ranging from a fairytale palace to self-catering cabins.

Whether you’re going for the first time or thinking of making a return visit, there are plenty of reasons to book a Disney break for 2020. We’ve shared some of them.

• The Free Dining Offer

If you book a Disney hotel or the Disney Nature Resort for spring arrivals from 2 April to 2nd July 2020 by 29th December 2019, or for summer arrivals from 3 July to 1 November 2020 by 12 February 2020, all members of your party dine for free.

You’ll also save up to 20% off your room when you stay two nights or more at Disneyland Hotel, Disney’s Newport Bay Club, Disney’s Sequoia Lodge, Disney’s Davy Crockett Ranch or Les Villages Nature Paris, or up to 15% when you stay two nights or more at Disney’s Hotel Cheyenne or Disney’s Hotel Santa Fe.

• The Frozen Celebration

From 11 January to 3 May 2020, the wonders of Frozen 2 will be brought to life in a fabulous parade complete with a festive float and plenty of opportunities to sing and dance along. This will be in addition to Frozen: A Musical Invitation from 17 November 2019 – an interactive journey through the kingdom of Arendelle with Frozen characters at Animation Celebration in Walt Disney Studios® Park.

• A New Hotel

Opening summer 2020 but bookable from mid-December, the four-star Disney’s Hotel New York - The Art of Marvel will resemble a modern art gallery, with more than 300 pieces of Marvel artwork by more than 50 international artists on display. It’ll also be the only Disney Hotel where you can meet Marvel Super Heroes.

• Breakfast and Lunch in the Cinderella-themed Restaurant

The fairytale-themed Auberge de Cendrillon in Disneyland® Park now gives you the chance to breakfast and lunch with Disney princesses. Dining here includeds delicious French cuisine and dessert served in a chocolate Cinderella’s slipper.

• The Extra Magic Hours

All packages booked with the Walt Disney Travel Company include Extra Magic Time, granting you an hour of fun in both Disney Parks before the official opening times. You also get complimentary shuttle buses between the Disney Parks and Disney hotels and Meet 'n' Greets with Disney characters as part of your package.

• The FASTPASS®

The Disneyland® Paris’  FASTPASS®, also part of packages booked with the Walt Disney Travel Company, lets you keep your place in the queue at some of its most popular attractions, giving you a designated time to arrive and enter each one via a special entrance.
