Blue Waters Resort & Spa, perched on the north coast of Antigua is a paradise for children and adults alike. This all-inclusive repeat award winning luxury hotel has attentive staff and excellent facilities, including three private beaches looking out over the blue (hence the name) waters. St John’s, the capital is only a 15-minute drive away and well worth a visit, with its impressive cathedral, pastel coloured buildings, colourful markets and colonial architecture, making this a great holiday for families who want to experience a rich cultural break combined with some luxurious pampering. 

There’s fine dining at the three restaurants (only children under 11 are allowed to get away with T-shirts so bring some smart clothes), three bars (including a poolside one), and snorkeling, windsurfing and kayaking, with complimentary lessons for beginners. Trips can be organised through the front desk and you can try your hand at tennis or golf which is nearby. The kids’ club is included in the cost and means you can enjoy the recent addition of the hotel spa. 

All of the rooms, suites or villas are bright and airy, with king-sized beds, stocked fridges, twice daily housekeeping and panoramic views of the ocean from the balconies or terraces.

Superior hillside rooms and deluxe beachfront rooms can sleep up to 3 people with a double bed and an extra bed.

Hillside junior suites sleep up to 4 people with a double bed and a roll away bed. These rooms can be interconnected with Superior Hillside rooms.

Luxury suites sleep up to 4 people with a queen sixed bed and a roll away bed.

The cove penthouses sleep up to 6 people and have 3 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms.

Rock cottages have 5 bedrooms and sleep up to 9 people.
