Crystal Cove, Barbados
A top choice for all-inclusive family holidays in Barbados, the Crystal Cove – a sister hotel to the Turtle Beach Resort – is a smaller all-inclusive resort on the west coast, with only 88 rooms but fantastic facilities and excellent service. The excellent kids’ club combined with extensive sporting activities and trips for the whole family, makes it great with kids of all ages. The kids’ club runs extensive hours and engages kids with everything from complimentary watersports to chaperoned movie nights.
One of the best family resorts in the Caribbean, Crystal Cove has three pools and two all-inclusive restaurants, one with fine dining and one with a kid-friendly buffet. There’s also a spa, a gym, golf and plenty of watersports. Staff are very happy to organise excursions, from horseriding to catamaran-sailing and trips out in glass-bottomed boats.
Accommodation is contemporary and comfortable; one-bedroom suites are best for families of four, with separate bedroom and living areas. The resort is a 15-minute drive from the island’s lively Bridgetown.
