Located on the pictureque Croatian coast, approximately mid-way between Pula (to the south) and the Italy (to the north). The best way to get here is to fly (there are a couple of airports not too far away) and hire a car, which will also give you the flexibility to get the kids out and about, and explore the local area.
Camping Lanterna (located on a long pebble beach with pine forest backdrop on the Istrian peninsula) is a perfect campsite and holiday park for families looking for an active holiday, with a great range of water-based sports to try including windsurfing, canoeing and you can even to learn how to dive (all an an additional cost) at the on-site water activity centre. However, many of the land-based activities are free to get involved in, including tennis and mini-golf, although you can hire bikes to explore the area on 2-wheels, for a fee.
The accommodation options vary between tents and mobile homes, some of which are more modern than others, and many include air-conditioning plus you have options sleeping up to 8 people. Each has a decent amoutn of private outdoor space and all have kitchen facilities (some more basic than others) and the on-site supermarket will keep you well-stocked, and if you want a night away from the kitchen, there is a restaurant, pizzeria and takeaway on-site. And the evening family entertainment is a great way to spend the night socialising with other families and the kids to make new friends.
