St. Avit Loisirs Campsite, Le Bugue, Dordogne

Amongst the trees in Dordogne, France, you’ll find St Avit Loisirs; one of the country’s premier family parcs, boasting great facilities and a breathtaking location. With a rural feel to the site and surrounding area this is a holiday for adventurers. Dordogne is certainly worth venturing out for and, if you do you’ll find gems like the medieval town of Sarlat (39km) and cave houses at Les Ezie de Tayac (20km) – all worthy of your attention. 

The parc runs kids’clubs and has a huge pool complex complete with kids’ pools and water slides, lazy river and a heated indoor tropical pool. There’s choice when it comes to eating, with a restaurant, café, and takeaway if you want to enjoy your own space. Sports activities include quad biking, tennis, badminton and basketball and there are bikes to hire if you want to head out. Canoe trips can be organized through reception. 

The wooden chalets and mobiles are bright and come with their own wooden decking area, veranda or terrace. Space is compact but practical in the standard accommodation while upgrades will get you a lot more floor space for your money. All come with kitchenette, living area and shower/toilet.

Glamping tents have wooden floors, kitchenette and fridge freezer as well as a dining set and sunlounger.
