This 52-bedroom family-friendly chalet hotel in the popular snow-sure ski resort of Tignes Val Claret oozes traditional charm with its natural wood decor and warm colours. Just a 10-minute walk (or short bus ride) from the ski lifts, it includes cosy family and interconnecting rooms with mini-fridges, an indoor pool, a small spa and highly regarded in-house childcare catering for ages 12 months to 12 years.

The restaurant fills you up for the slopes with a hearty breakfast and then revitalises you with afternoon tea and a three-course evening meal with wine, all included in your holiday price. Kids' teas and baby-listening mean you can enjoy a quiet meal as a couple or with old or new friends should the mood take you. There's also a welcoming bar and lounge decorated in a typical Savoie style, with a real log fire and a pool table.

Mark Warner will book ski lessons, ski equipment hire and lift passes for you at the time of booking – leaving you free to sit back and get excited about your trip!
