In a plum location by one of the ski-lifts, with ski-in/ski-out access, this is a popular choice in the hugely family-friendly French Alps resort of La Plagne. Top marks go to the staff in general (energetic, helpful and friendly) and in particular to the wonderful childcare team. Most guests feel these aspects make the hotel good value for money and worth recommending for a ski holiday with younger children despite the decor being undeniably shabby. Some guests recommend asking for a room at the side or rear to avoid noise from the hotel bar.
Mark Warner take all the hard work out of organising your trip to the mountains: lift passes can be booked at the time of reservation and will await you at the hotel, ski lessons can be be booked for you with the local firm they recommend most highly (with lessons available for children from three years of age and up), and ski gear hire can be arranged.
The Chalet Hotel Christina is fully catered, meaning you enjoy a hearty breakfast, afternoon tea/children's high tea, and a three-course dinner with complimentary wine (and evening childcare for those who want it) as part of your holiday package.
