Camping la Bien Assise is set in beautiful countryside in the Picardy region, and is a well-maintained site with a peaceful atmosphere. It is set on the edge of Guines forest, close to the port of Calais. There is plenty of space for the children to play. The former stables have been carefully converted into a welcoming shop and bar, and the traditional French restaurant is set in an old farmstead. The site has good sports facilities including tennis and mini-golf and off-site the extensive forest of Guines can be explored on bike or by foot.
Location
The nearest ferry port is Calais which is 10 miles away. The town of Guines is a ten minute walk from the site and offers a small number of cafes, restaurants and shops. The nearest large town is Calais, a twenty minute drive. The closest beach at Wissant (7mls) is sheltered between two headlands and is an excellent sandy beach.
