Close to the legendary seaside resort of St Tropez in Provence, the all-inclusive Pierre & Vacances Les Restanques du Golfe de Sainte-Tropez Holiday Village is set in large landscaped gardens overlooking the Mediterranean. A good choice for families who are looking to combine extensive facilities on tap (although some online reviews have mentioned that they need updating), with day trips out to make the most of the spectacular scenery (car hire is recommended).

The hotel has a terraced restaurant with child-friendly menus and various dining options plus an all day snack service in July and August. There are four pools (including one reserved for guests staying in the hotel villas, and a wave pool), a playroom, play areas, kids’ clubs and a spa and fitness room as well as daytime and evening shows during the summer months.

Accommodation is comfortably furnished and includes studios, apartments and villas sleeping 4-10 in 1-4 bedrooms with additional pull out sofabeds in the living areas. All accommodation comes with a balcony or terrace (some have their own private gardens) as well as fully fitted kitchenettes.
