A-ROSA Sena, Rhine
A-ROSA has a reputation for luxurious river cruising with a relaxed, informal style - no need to dress for dinner on these cruises! The A-ROSA Sena sails on the Rhine in Germany and it is A-ROSA's most family-friendly ship yet. Standard cabins sleep three but they also have family cabins that sleep up to five. The ship has four decks, instead of the normal three, giving space for a dedicated kids' club. There are also two pools to splash about in and a rather quirky bar on the top deck - they call it the 'Up Down Bar' - mostly it is up, but when you come to a bridge, it disappears down, to enable the ship to sail under!
This is also the greenest river cruise ship yet and it includes a hybrid engine, which allows the crew to use electricity when entering and leaving ports - much better for the environment.
As well as a fun-packed activity programme, organised by the ship's children's entertainer, family cruises offer a programme of shore excursions and activities for families, giving you the chance to visit the most family-friendly attractions and perhaps try some fun activities such as a high-ropes course or visiting a theme park.

The ship is furnished in a bright, modern style. Cabin options include:
- Deck 2 or 3 Outside Cabin B, C and D - sleeps 3 - a spacious cabin with double bed, sofa bed and balcony.
- Deck 1 Family Cabin - sleeps 5 - a spacious cabin with double bed, bunk beds, sofa bed and window (no balcony.
- Deck 4 Balcony Suite - sleeps 3 - a junior suite style cabin with double bed, sofa bed and balcony. Larger than the Outside Cabins. Additional services include personal welcome, suite cocktail with hotel manager, room service, free use of mini bar, fresh flowers and fruit, laundry and ironing service and butler service.

Childcare
On A-ROSA family cruise sailings, there is a kids' club and activities for children 4-15 years old up to 3 times a day. The children's entertainer will run a programme of onboard activities such as treasure hunts, arts and crafts, mocktail making and movie nights.
Location
The A-ROSA Stena cruises begin and end in Cologne in Germany. You can travel to Cologne by train, via Brussels, or you can fly to Cologne. There are direct flights from London and Edinburgh and indirect flights from other regional airports.
