The GF Victoria just 150 metres from the beach on the south-east coast of Tenerife (15 minutes from the airport) is split into zones with activities for children of different ages. Kids' workshops on the likes of healthy eating and recycling make it a great choice for families passionate about future generation. And the hotel has a sustainable environmental policy, with 90% of energy from renewable resources.

Facilities include two restaurants and a kids’ alfresco buffet, a pizzeria and a burger bar. There’s also a pool bar and a juice bar, three kids’ pools, a family pool and an adult-only naturist pool on the top floor. Of the two spas, one is for families and includes treatments for hyperactive kids, as well as recovery treatments and baby massage for new mums. Activities for children run all day at the large family pool, and there’s a zen garden where kids can learn yoga and Pilates, plus for traditionalists, an adventure playground.

The stylishly decorated suites come complete with kitchenettes and baby facilities.
