The Gran Melia Palacio de Isora combines luxury with a family-friendly welcome. Brilliantly located just an hour from the island's southern airport, and 10 minutes from the major tourist resort of Los Gigantes, it offers masses of activities by day and night. They include kids' sleepovers with films and hot chocolate – leaving parents free to enjoy a meal in one of the many wonderful restaurants, which includes an Asian eatery with a sushi bar. There's also a sumptuous Clarins spa (including children's treatments) and adults' classes including wine-tasting, cocktail-mixing and sushi-making.
From April to October and over the festive period (making this hotel in Tenerife the perfect choice for Christmas holidays), ages 3-12 years can use the kids' club for a couple of hours daily. Younger guests (0-4 years) can be booked into the nursery for morning or afternoon sessions year-round. There's direct access to the beach a saltwater swimming pool, and five additional pools (one indoor, and some for kids).
Some of the spacious rooms with sea or garden views have a private garden area. The suites are particularly suitable for families, with separate sleeping areas for adults and kids. If there's someone particularly tall in your party, this hotel is a great choice as they have beds longer than 2m/6ft 7"!.Room choices at the hotel include some of the following options for families:
- Deluxe Garden Rooms sleep 2 adults + 2 children in double or twin beds and a double sofabed, with private terrace.
- Deluxe Twin Rooms sleep 2 adults + 2 children in a double bed and double sofabed, with balcony or terrace.
