The Koimala & Maalimi Junior Beach Club and Camp is a vibrant and exciting space designed for families staying at one of the Maldives’ leading family-friendly resorts.

Created as an imaginative edutainment centre, the club inspires children aged 4–15 to explore their creativity through engaging, interactive experiences in a fun and dynamic setting. Elements of Maldivian culture are woven throughout the space, creating a charming and stimulating environment for a wide range of educational and entertaining activities.

At the heart of the club’s concept are two beloved characters from Maldivian folklore: Koimala, the wise turtle prince, and Maalimi, the legendary black marlin - the fastest fish in the ocean. Their colourful stories captivate young minds while encouraging children to discover more about the Maldives’ unique culture and marine wildlife.

Play Space:

The facility features three indoor and three outdoor spaces, thoughtfully designed to offer something for every member of the family. A welcoming family room invites parents and guardians to join in the activities, while the dedicated activity room and playroom are exclusive children’s spaces that encourage creativity, independence, and personal growth.

Outdoors, a stunning private beach sets the stage for a wide range of games and adventures, alongside a dedicated nature area where children can reconnect with the outdoors and enjoy camping beneath the stars. An exceptional on-site education centre also introduces young guests to sustainability and conservation through interactive activities and storytelling, inspiring a deeper appreciation and respect for the natural environment.

Location

There are regular direct flights to the Maldives from London. Indirect flights are available from London and a number of other UK airports. From the international airport in Male, the transfer to SAii Lagoon Maldives is 15 minutes by speedboat.
