The St. Regis Le Morne Resort (formerly JW Marriott Mauritius Resort) offers 5* luxury for families, with the stunning backdrop of the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Le Morne Brabant Mountain surrounding you with the beauty of nature.
The hotel has a prime location on one of the best beaches on the island, from which you can enjoy a range of watersports, including kitesurfing - this being one of the best places in the world to enjoy the sport. The gently sloping beach and sheltered lagoon is also perfect for little ones, and the hotel has a lovely kids' club with its own little pool and a lush garden to play in.
This is an all-suite resort and every suite has the services of a butler, to ensure that you receive the highest level of personalised service. Accommodation has a traditional Mauritius style and while the suites only sleep 3 individually, there is the option to guarantee interconnecting rooms. Alternatively, for a bigger group of family and friends, there is a wonderful 4-suite villa, complete with private pools.
Another highlight of the hotel is the cuisine on offer, which can take you on a culinary journey around the world. And if you'd like to enjoy a peaceful meal or two, children can eat earlier and then the lovely staff at the kids' club will look after them while you dine.

Accommodation
The luxurious family accommodation at the St. Regis Le Morne Resort has a traditional Mauritian feel. Suites sleep up to 3 but interconnecting suites are available. Options include:
- Junior Suites - sleeping up to 3, with a king or twin beds plus a sofa bed, a balcony or terrace and garden or ocean views. Approx. 65m².
- Heritage Suites - sleeping up to 3, with a king bed plus a sofa bed. These are open-plan and have direct access to the lagoon. Approx. 75m².
- Manor House Spa Suite - sleeping up to 3 with a king bed plus sofa bed in the lounge area (open-plan). They are located in the main building and have views of the ocean. Approx. 146m².
- Peninsula Suites - sleeping up to 3 with a king bed plus sofa bed in the lounge area (open-plan) and a balcony or beach access. Approx. 100m².
- Le Morne Suites - sleeping up to 3 with a king bed plus sofa bed in the lounge area (open-plan) and a balcony or beach access. Approx. 150m².
- Grand Beachfront Villa - sleeping up to 8 adults and 8 children in 4 suites with king beds. The villa has 2 lounge areas, a gym and steam room, a main pool and 3 plunge pools and has a dedicated team to serve you.
Board basis: Bed & breakfast (Breakfast at Le Manoir Dining Room), half-board (dinner at Le Manoir Dining Room) or full-board (lunch at Aegean Beach Grill. Dinner at Le Manoir Dining Room).
St. Regis Butler Service: Available to all guests in the resort, no request is too small or unattainable, at any time of day.
Childcare
The Kite Flyers Club at the St. Regis Le Morne Resort offers a fun programme of activities for children aged 4-12 years. Activities may include things such as glass-bottom boat trips, cooking, yoga, star gazing and beach games. There is a dedicated clubhouse, complete with a sheltered garden and a swimming pool, toys, board games and games console.The club is available 9am-10pm, allowing parents to enjoy a quiet meal in the evenings if they wish.
Younger children, aged 2-3 years, are also welcome in the kids' club but must be accompanied by a parent or babysitter (the hotel can arrange a babysitter - charges apply).
Location
Direct flights to Mauritius are available from London Gatwick and have a flight time of about 12 hours. Alternatively, indirect flights are available from a selection of UK airports. TheSt. Regis Le Morne Resort is located on the southwest coast of the island, with the backdrop of the famous Le Morne Brabant Mountain. Private transfers take approx. 1 hour 15 minutes.
