Namuwoki Lodge is nestled amongst lush gardens (habitat to some of Costa Rica's most-loved wildlife including sloths and toucans), on the Caribbean Coast, where a white sandy beach is just yards away. What could be more idyllic?
The complex itself is basic but provides a real feeling of the traditional Costa Rican way of life. There are 13 bungalows, with family options available, and all with a private terrace where you can while the day away lazing on a hammock. Or you can take a dip in the pool and enjoy a cocktail on the loungers (mocktail for the kids!).
However, Costa Rica isn't the kind of place you come to just sit by the pool. This country is a wildlife haven, with amazing rainforest and some of the best beaches around. Just a short drive (and we do recommend you hire a car) is a wildlife refuge with it's own coral reef and where turtles nest. Other nearby attractions and activities include guided rainforest walks (cameras at the ready!), chocolate tours, horse riding on the beach, white-water rafting and snorkelling. All of which can be organised direct with Namuwoki Lodge.
The Limón region of the country is considered to be one of the most lush with an extensive coastline where beaches can be as white and sandy as you would find anywhere. It is one of the least visited regions of Costa Rica, which makes it all the more exciting to take the kids and explore new territories, from the beach to the rainforest, and everything that comes with it, Namuwoki Lodge makes for a great base and where you can start your day on an inclusive breakfast and retire to on an evening and enjoy a Costa Rican feast.
