Family-friendly days out in England

Castles and country estates, museums and musicals, themeparks and treetop adventures… England has something to appeal to kids of all ages. The following are some of our favourite days out around the country (often with special discounts or deals), but English Heritage and National Trust properties are always a fail-safe bet – along with good outdoors fun, you can be happy in the knowledge that your entry fees are helping to maintain important historical sites. And with more than 27,000 parks and 10 National Parks, there's always a great green space at hand, wherever you happen to be.
