If you are planning to visit Warwick Castle with the kids then why not consider making a short break of it and step back in time by staying in the Mediaevel glamping site. A little more luxurious that they would have had back in the day, these canvas tents comfortably sleep 5 people (plus extra space for a cot). Each has lighting, power points and WiFi, plus a table and seating (or more like thrones in the luxury option, as well a sheepskin rugs and a chessboard).
Breakfast is included in the price and evening meals can be booked at the on-site Mediaeval Banqueting Hall where you can indulge in an all-you-can-eat feast, enjoying the evening entertainment or even dress up as a knight or princess (if that takes your fancy). And if you are travelling with babies and toddlers, there is 24-hour bottle and food warming facility in the reception area.
The glamping site is located within the grounds of Warwick Castle, just a 15-min walk from the castle itself and you can park on-site for no extra cost.
We certainly think this is a fabulous way to spend quality time with the kids, away from modern technologies in a unique but comfortable setting, where history is on your door-step.
