Fairytale Forest - home to 29 different fairytale characters including Cinderella and Pinocchio, and ideal for the youngest of visitors, who love to interact with the characters and the storytelling giant tree.

Adrenaline Junkies - thrilling rides and frightening attractions to get the heart racing, including Baron 1898 (freefall rollercoaster diving underground at 90mph), Vogelrok (indoor rollercoaster) and De Vliegende Hollender (rollercoaster with water thrown in!).

Where to stay

With a choice of places to stay within the Efteling grounds, you will never be far from the action. Choose between the Efteling Village Bosrijk with its collection of holiday homes and apartments on a lakeside close to the theme park, or the four-star fairytale-themed Efteling Hotel within walking distance of the park.

Holiday Village Efteling Loonsche Land - stay in the hotel or in a themed room with views of the treetops, water views or with views of the dunes.

When

Efteling is open every day of the year (even Christmas Day!), generally from 10am through to 8pm, although times vary depending on the time of year. Check the website for exact details.

Eat

Whether you want a snack on the go or a sit-down meal, Efteling has it all. Choose from pasta and pizza, Oriental cuisine, sandwiches and pancakes in an array of themed settings. Check out the good-value entry ticket options that include meals, snacks and drinks.

Cost

Ticket prices start at €34.50pp when you book online. Package options are available, such as tickets that include lunch, snacks and 30 minutes early entry to the park, and tickets that also include dinner and free parking. You can pay on the day, but savings are to be had when you book online in advance. Children under the age of four visit free of charge.
