The Empire State Building is open throughout the year from 8am through to 2am. The peak times when most people tend to visit are between mid morning and early afternoon, so we recommend you visit out of these times. Early morning or late night are great times to avoid the crowds - giving you the chance to see New York with the hustle and bustle first thing, or when the city winds down of an evening and the lights come out to play.

By pre-booking your tickets you will save valuable time on queuing. We suggest you allow an hour to experience the Empire State Building, slightly more if it is busy or you want to visit both floors.

Within the Empire State Building itself, there is a selection of shops and restaurants in the main lobby, but there's also plenty of choice all around the venue.
