Family Ski & Snow Activity Holidays
Kids little and big adore snow, so just imagine waking up in a landscape covered by a thick blanket of the stuff, like something from a picture book.
Many people think of holidays in the snow as being all about skiing and snowboarding, but there are a whole array of other activities to enjoy, whether you head to huge mountainous areas such as the Alps or the Rockies, north to the shimmering magic of Lapland, or even as far as Japan or New Zealand.
And with snowy activities comes the joy of cosy stays in log cabins and Alpine hotels oozing character, often with roaring log fires around which to share stories of your wintry adventures.
Ski & Snowboarding Holidays with Kids
Whether you’re already a keen skier or snowboarder or are first-timers, we can book you the perfect family ski trip for your tribe. We can also help you with all the extras that make a ski holiday run like clockwork, from recommending the best ski schools to arranging the quickest route from airport to resort.
And if you’ve got children who are too young to ski, or to ski for entire days, we can book you options with childcare too. We even offer luxury all-inclusive ski holidays that embrace everything from lift passes and ski school to kids’ clubs and delicious food, followed by sparkling evening entertainment such as circus and magic shows.
Snow Activity Holidays
We can offer a wide choice of Alpine resorts offering, in addition to ski and snowboarding slopes, thrilling snow activities such as ice skating, tobogganing, snow-mobiling, ice driving and even bobsleigh.
In addition, we can book you holidays at resorts and hotels or on trips offering the option of a full programme of snowy winter activities across your stay, from ice fishing and winter wilderness skills to snowmobile, reindeer and husky-sled rides.
Northern Lights Holidays
Spotting the spellbinding Aurora Borealis is on many family's wish list during a trip to a snowy land in the winter months, and we can send you to the places giving you the greatest chance of seeing them. Many of them even have special alarms you can request to wake you up should the Northern Lights appear. And if you ask us to book you a glass-roofed igloo, which we can thoroughly recommend, all you have to do is look up!
Ice Hotels & Igloos
Melting each spring and rebuilt each winter, ice hotels (or snow hotels) and igloos really are like something out of a fairytale. The original version, The ICEHOTEL in Sweden, is an amazing spectacle, with each of its suites designed afresh each year by a different artist from around the world.
Temperatures in some properties can sink as low as -40°C, which is too cold for children of certain ages, but we can offer less chilly alternatives, including real snow igloos.
Meet Father Christmas
What could be more magical than seeing your kids' faces as the elves take you all to a private meeting with Santa himself as part of a Lapland holiday? There are several locations where you can meet him; we'll recommend the best for you.
We'll also arrange exactly the type of experience you'd like, whether that includes a stay in one of Santa’s hotels and fun tasters of a bunch of snowy activities, or your own glass igloo and a clutch of activities hand-picked to suit your family.
Alternatively, there are fun-packed day trips to Lapland to see Father Christmas, too.
