Whether you’re in search of Father Christmas or just want to enjoy a snowy wonderland, we can send you on the Lapland family adventure of your dreams.

Imagine pathways lit by lanterns and roaring log fires in the cabins and hotels – daylight hours are short in Lapland in winter, but that only adds to the magic. As do the thrilling activities - head off into the forest on a gentle reindeer sleigh ride, snuggle down and be whisked away on a husky-sled ride, grab a toboggan and race down snowy slopes, or join a snowmobile safari. You can also learn some traditional skills from the local Sami people - like ice fishing and winter survival skills.

We have a choice of locations to send you to in Lapland, some more remote than others; just let us know what style of trip you prefer and we can do the rest of it for you.

Aurora Borealis

Seeing the Northern Lights is on many of our families' wish lists during a Lapland holiday, and while we always stress that a sighting can't ever be guaranteed, we'll send you to the best places to catch them during the winter months – the darker, more remote areas, where you can join night trips by snowmobile, sleigh or bus.

Some hotels even have ‘Aurora alarms’ to awaken you should the Lights appear. For the ultimate view, we can even book you into a glass-roofed igloo, with a clear view of the sky from your bed.

Meeting Father Christmas

We can fix you up with one of the most magical and highly sought-after of family travel experiences with younger kids – a private family meeting with Santa, often with his cheeky elves on hand to look after you. Santa gets very busy in the winter months, travelling around between the different locations in Lapland - there are quite a few to choose from, but we can help you pick the best for you.
