Luxury Holidays with Clubs for Tots to Teens
Let us source the perfect hotel with childcare or children's activities for you and your brood, whether you're new parents short on sleep, parents of very active kids who thrive on being busy, or have teens who prefer to spend most of their time with their peers. On these holidays, everyone in the family has the perfect space to relax, have fun and make memories – and you get a sprinkle of well-deserved time to yourself.
Childcare for babies and toddlers
Along with our luxury hotel partners offering childcare for little ones, we know from personal experience that it can be hard to hand them over to someone else to care for. Our hand-picked partner properties have invested a lot of time in curating age-appropriate and stimulating spaces and in sourcing qualified staff to care for younger guests.
You'll usually pay extra for childcare for children under the age of three or four in hotels, but in return, you can relax and enjoy a little time to unwind, confident your child is happy and being well looked after.
Clubs for school-aged children
There are kids’ clubs and then there are kids’ clubs. Sadly, many a hotel feels that throwing a few toys into a colourful room, along with a member of staff to supervise, is enough to tick the kids’ club box and attract families.
As parents ourselves, we know that it takes a lot more than that to create a place that children are going to love and that we’re going to be happy sending them to. Our cherry-picked luxury hotels know this too. We can book you into an array of lovely properties with great kids' clubs for younger children up to the age of seven or eight.
As children get a little older, they often start to prefer more challenging activities, to need more structure and/or to like to be with older children, rather than little ones – and this is where our partner hotels with clubs divided by age range come in.
#justforteens
As kids head into their teen years, they may start to feel they’re too old for clubs but equally that they don’t really want to spend much of their holiday with parents. We work with many luxury hotels who get this and have created spaces #justforteens (and sometimes older tweens too) – places to hang out in and meet others of a similar age but with less structure than a kids' club.
Instead of crafting, games and treasure hunts, they may offer the likes of mocktail making, learn to DJ sessions and beach parties - kids can join in if they want or simply chill in the teen area. Some also offer a digital side - gaming and movies - to try to encourage teens to cut down on screen time.
Holiday academies
If your child loves after-school sports and other hobbies, we can help you ensure they are kept busy at one of our partner hotels where kids can enjoy their favourite sports or other hobbies while on holiday. Football academies are the most popular option; others include tennis, dance, go-karting and sailing.
These programmes are all run by expert staff over a period of days, usually for an hour or two per day. They're a really fun and popular alternative or addition to hotel kids’/teen clubs. Find out more about the best hotels for sports, and other, academies.
