Itinerary
Day 1
Start your adventure with an afternoon trip to Victoria Falls.
Day 2
Chobe National Park; perfect place to spot elephants as well as hippos and birdlife, followed by a sunset cruise on the Chobe River.
Day 3
Early start on the road to Nata (approx 7 hours), near the largest salt flats on earth. Set up camp at Elephant Sands where you can watch the local elephants drink in front of you. Take an evening bush walk before bed.
Day 4
Pack up camp and take a 7 hour drive to Maun; one of the world's most complex eco-systems, the Okavango Delta.
Day 5
Take to a canoe steered by locals along the waterways to spot exotic bird- and wildlife by experienced guides. Sleep in the African wilderness.
Day 6
Sunrise walk before breakfast followed by a relaxing day.
Day 7
Head back to Maun by traditional canoe (3 hours). Interact with some locals in their village and learn more about their way of life.
Day 8
Drive to Khama Rhino Sanctuary, a local conservation project followed by a dusk game drive.
Day 9
Cross the border into South Africa and dive into the rock pools around your hotel for the night. Spend the evening with the local community and experience their culture and foods.
Day 10
Have breakfast then head to Johannesburg where your trip will end. Or why not book additional days to further explore the city.
