Tanzania Family Safari

Spend 8 days exploring the wildlife, cultures and sights of Tanzania (along with some of Keyna). Enjoy the safari life on the lookout for the Big Five; a magical experience in the Ngorongoro crater.

You will start your adventure in Kenya, making your way through the landscapes and sights, before really kick-starting your adventure of a lifetime in Tanzania. Most your time will be spent camping, with one night in a hotel and most your meals are included.

This Tanzania Family Safari lends itself to families, with the youngest age allowed being 5 years old. Although, a fair amount of time will be spent travelling on rough terrain in a 4x4 so patience will be required!

Prices from GBP £1470 per adult and from £1323 per child, including accommodation, domestic transport and some meals. Flights can be arranged for an additional cost.

Itinerary

Day 1

Welcome meeting in Nairobi.

Day 2

Nine hour safari truck ride to Kisii then over the border to Tanzania (pass the Great Rift Valley and Maasai, plus picnic lunch).

Day 3

Visit Lake Victoria. Hire bikes and shop for your camping essentials.

Day 4

Serengeti National Park; safari and camp in the park.

Day 5

Serengeti National Park; safari and camp in the park. Hot air balloon ride optional.

Day 6

Head out the park to Ngorongoro Conservation area where you will camp on the edge of the crater.

Day 7

Meserani; 4x4 game viewing in the crater (endangered black rhinos, lions, leopards, elephants, impalas, zebras and hippos).

Day 8

Eight hour drive back to Nairobi, then flight home.
