Four days of action-packed adventures take place in a wonderful wintry landscape, with Santa’s little helpers at hand (they even greet you at the airport). Jump on the back of a reindeer sled for a ride through the snow, chase the Northern Lights on a snowmobile and whizz downhill on toboggans. Then meet the man himself (under-13s get a free gift). Then on the last day you select from a variety of optional extras.

Choose from hotels hand-picked for their family friendliness (half board options are available), including a new luxury option which is perfectly positioned to view the northern lights, or opt for a cosy Christmas cabin with your own personal helper to cook and clean.

After 25-minute coach-ride to your hotel or chalet in Saariselkä you'll will be fitted with your complimentary thermal oversuits, boots, gloves and hats. Then it's free time to get your bearings, make snowmen, go tobogganing or just relax before dinner.

Day Two

The highlight of the day is a Snowmobile Safari Adventure. Grown-ups can drive if they want to; kids are towed in special sledges, or older ones can ride pillion behind a parent. Hot drinks around a crackling campfire with toboggans laid on to keep youngsters happy complete the picture. Lunch is in a local restaurant to boost energy levels before an afternoon of optional activities or, if you prefer, exploring the area at your own pace.

Day Three

Today includes a reindeer sleigh-ride, a traditional Arctic Circle ceremony and a husky sled-ride. This is followed by lunch before you set off on your search for Santa at his hideaway log cabin home. Each family gets an exclusive meeting. Finally, back 'home' in your hotel or chalet, sit down as a family and enjoy a wonderful gala dinner (optional in hotels).

Day Four

Choose your optional adventures (can be pre-booked in the UK or chosen the night before). You may have fallen in love with the huskies and want to enjoy the sled ride again, or perhaps experience skiing (Nordic style or downhill). You set off after lunch for the airport.

Reviews

Four amazing days in Lapland

We highly recommend this special trip to anyone who still believes. We saw people of all ages with and without children on the plane with us because it similar to the Disney magic. While it is cold, they make every effort to ensure your warmth and safety. They have warming huts and serve hot berry juice and cookies throughout the grounds. Also, the winter gear they issue are top quality and will keep you warm. My family agreed that the dog sledding and Tobaggin hill were the most fun. A close second was the snowmobile Northern Lights safari. The staff are very nice and helpful. The accommodations are clean, warm and nice. Our apartment had a sauna and a warming cabinet to dry our wet gear. The mischievous elves keep the fun going from the moment you land until the time you board the return aircraft. Of course it was super special to meet Santa. Amazingly he seemed to know facts about our girls that only Santa would know. It was an amazing four days of non-stop fun in a wonderful location.
