From £645 per person, including accommodation, some meals and some excurions, as well as a guide. You have the opportunity to add flights for an additional cost.


Day 1

Meet your group in Romania's capital, Bucharest.

Day 2

Explore the capital and go on a walking treasure hunt in the old town, then visit Dracula's Bran Castle.

Day 3

Explore the rural side of Romania where you will visit a bear sanctuary and take a horse and cart ride. You will stay overnight in medieval city of Sighisoara.

Day 4

You will drive to Alba Lulia in the heart of Transylvania.

Days 5 and 6

You will explore Apuseni Natural Park, where you will go on a guided walks and have the opportunity to take part in additional activities, including tennis, cycling and kayaking.

Day 7

Drive to Salina Turda (a former salt mine which has now become a key tourist attraction), then you will visit Cluj-Napoca for a walking tour of historic centre.

Day 8

The trip ends in Cluj-Napoca.
