All-inclusive family holidays in the Middle East and Africa

The mention of Africa and the Middle East may put you more in mind of adventure holidays than package deals, but several destinations in this region offer a good choice of all-inclusive family-friendly hotels and resorts, some of them with French-founded firm Club Med. They include North Africa (Tunisia and Morocco) and the Red Sea resorts in Egypt – the latter a fantastic spot for snorkelling and diving with kids. We also recommend a couple of hand-picked places in other parts of Africa.

An all-inclusive holiday in this part of the world can be great as a standalone holiday but may work even better as the relaxing follow-up to an adventure holiday in the region – perhaps one involving walking in the Atlas mountains, camel-riding in the desert and exploring the cultural treasures of Egypt, or going on a child-friendly safari in Kenya or elsewhere in Africa.
