Center Parcs Unveils New Attractions Including Forest Spa

The popular holiday village group Center Parcs has introduced several new features for 2017, including the first incarnation of its Forest Spa concept at its property in Sherwood Forest in Nottinghamshire.

Refurbished to the tune of more than £3 million, Aqua Sana Sherwood Forest spa has been transformed in line with its natural setting and now includes a unique treetop sauna perched 10 metres up in the treetop canopy, with gorgeous views, and a forest bathing area inspired by the Japanese wellness trend of shinrin-yoki. The spa has also been designed to run almost entirely on renewable energy from a nearby anaerobic digestion plant.

Meanwhile, Center Parcs Longleat in Wiltshire is debuting two hi-tech water-rides this summer, Tropical Cyclone (Europe’s largest ride to feature AV interactive technology) and Typhoon, as well as a family water-play area and a toddler pool (Venture Bay and Venture Harbour).
