Whether you’re after a fly-cruise – cutting straight to the chase – or whether you prefer to head out from the UK (Southampton) on board, the choice is yours. Celebrity have a range of ships heading for destination winners such as France, Spain and Portugal – or head north and discover the delights of Norway and Iceland, or head to all-time favourite; the Mediterranean, the Azores or the Caribbean.

Once you’ve decided where you want to go (which can be tricky), the hard part has been done. If you’re leaving from here there are no luggage restrictions and most things on board are included in the price of your ticket, so once you’ve paid for the initial outlay, you can afford to sit back and relax.
Cruises are a great way of spending time together as a family and introducing your children to a whole range of new cultures. You can pre-book excursions before you get to your destinations and find yourselves hot-air ballooning above a European gem of a city or exploring the coastline by private luxury boat, to make the most of your time in these new destinations.
On board, you and your kids are going to be lavishly entertained, wined and dined along the way. On Eclipse, kids can learn how to make videos and movies, adults will love the spa and cocktail bars where the mixologists are serious about their work, there are pools galore, croquet on the lawn (top deck!), sports tournaments so families can enjoy some friendly competitiveness, a theatre, cinemas, daily entertainment and plenty of workshops. There are wine-tasting sessions and cooking demonstrations, which may just show you how they manage to cook up such a storm at the many family-friendly restaurants dotted around the ships.
Kids’ clubs run from 9am-10pm every day so adults have plenty of time to explore the ships facilities on their own, and teens have their own space in X Club, a teen hangout zone with the latest gaming consoles and sports activities.
You’ll find nightclubs, pool butlers, enthusiastic entertainers and rooms that are spacious and perfect for families. The rooms vary hugely; there are four classes all dependent on budget and whether you want an interior, ocean view or balcony. The world is your oyster.
