As active family holiday experts, we’re always being asked how Mark Warner, Neilson and Club Med compare and which is best.
All three offer beach and ski holidays including childcare/teen clubs, with numerous water and land-based activities on offer at the beach resorts. All have a good reputation, with resorts averaging above 4 out of 5 on TripAdvisor.
Mark Warner and Neilson are British companies serving UK families in the Alps and Mediterranean. Most, but not all, meals are included in the price. Drinks are extra, as are some activities. Club Med has all-inclusive resorts all over the world, caters to customers from all over the world (a high percentage in Europe are French) and you’ll typically pay a premium for an all-inclusive holiday.
You’ll select the right operator and resort, with our assistance, based on a number of factors, including the ages of your children, how active each of you likes to be, what you particularly want to do and your budget.
We've done your homework for you and selected the summer resorts that score at least 4.5 out of 5 on Trip Advisor. The reviews suggest that the vast majority of families return having had an amazing holiday. Neilson's Cosmos Beachclub even scores a 5 out of 5 (though it's a smaller resort which is primarily geared up for windsurfing).
