Accommodation
Rooms and suites at the Theresia are in either a traditional or contemporary alpine style. Some of the options for families include:
- Type A Double Rooms - sleep up to 4, with an Austrian twin* and 2 single sofa beds. Contemporary style.
- Type C Family Rooms - sleep up to 4 with an Austrian twin, a single sofa bed and an extra bed. Traditional style.
- Type A 2-Room Family Suites - sleep up to 5, with an Austrian twin room with 1 or 2 sofa beds and a cosy children's room with bunk beds or 2 single beds. Traditional style.
- Type A 3-Room Family Suites - sleep up to 6 with an Austrian twin room, a standard twin room and a living room with sofa bed. Traditional style.
Total: 53 rooms and suites plus 10 apartments in the adjacent RESI Apartment hotel.
Board Basis
All-inclusive - breakfast, lunch buffet, afternoon tea, 5-course evening meals plus tea, coffee, juice 24/7 and a selection of soft drinks, wines and beers between 12.15-22.00.
*Austrian Twins are 2 single mattresses, each with a single duvet and pillow, contained side by side, within one bed frame - they cannot usually be separated. This bed type is very common in Austria and other Alpine areas.
The hotel has traditional balconies cascading with flowers in summer, and wonderful views.
Childcare
The Theresia has a well-equipped playroom and separate gaming room. Children can use this between 07.30-21.00 when supervised by a parent/carer.
The hotel also runs a fun kids' club in the playroom (and out and about around the hotel) Mon-Fri, afternoons and evenings. This is available for children from 3 years old.
Location
Flights are available in summer (mainly Saturday or Wednesday) and winter (mainly Saturday) from a selection of UK airports. The closest airport to Saalbach-Hinterglemm is Salzburg, and the transfer time is approx. 2 hours (less with a private transfer).
In the summer, the 'hiking bus' stops right by the hotel.
In the winter, the hotel has a ski-in/ski-out location for enjoying the 270km of pistes of the Saalbach-Hinterglemm ski area.
