The Chedi Luštica Bay,

The first of seven hotels that will ultimately form part of a sustainable new community on the Luštica Bay peninsula near the town of Tivat, the Chedi has a private sand-and-pebble beach and beach club, an all-natural spa, and direct access to the resort’s kids’ club. By 2030, his green-roofed eco- friendly building will be the first entirely carbon-neutral hotel in Europe.

As well as simply relaxing, the Chedi Luštica Bay is ideal for exploring he bewitching Bay of Kotor with its magical sprinkling of tiny islands, some home to domed churches, monasteries or convents (day trips run from Tivat’s Porto Montenegro marina), or Skadar Lake with its boat trips, fishing, swimming and cycle routes past local vineyards.

Food is superb across both restaurants (one resident-only) and the chic
beach club hewn into natural rock, with its VIP lounger area. Think the likes
of pulled-beef bao buns and made-to-order breakfast dishes such as
buttermilk pancakes with orange compôte and lemon ricotta, and there's an à la carte vegan menu at The Lobby & Poolbar. There are also winery and olive oil tasting visits on the peninsula.

Rooms are chic, with neutral and seaside colours; some have handy kitchenettes and some have views over the marina with its illuminated lighthouse (home to an alfresco restaurant), promenade, terraced eateries, boutiques, and alfresco theatre with concerts and shows including opera.
