MS Europa, European Family Sailings
Hop on board the MS Europa and embark on a family adventure through beautiful and fascinating places. This is not a mega-cruise ship with thousands of passengers - it's more like an elegant boutique hotel, and one that welcomes families aboard with open arms.
Accommodating only 400 guests, the ship offers a choice of modern, luxury suites, including interconnecting suites to sleep up to 6, perfect for families. The suites are located on 5 of the ship's 10 decks and have a luxurious, modern feel. And even better - there are no windowless interior cabins here! Every suite has either a large window or its own furnished veranda.
A cruise aboard MS Europa is ideal for families with curious kids and teens who love to learn about new cultures, try new foods and explore new destinations. At each stop on your cruise, there will be a varied programme of shore excursions to choose from, and on family sailings, there is a special shore programme for kids and teens (min. age 4), as well as family excursions to enjoy together (note that all excursions are charged separately so that you can tailor your cruise experience to your family). Fancy one of the excursions, but think your kids might not? They can stay with the ship's childcare service, make new friends and have fun, while you go on the excursion.
Back on board, after a day ashore, there's plenty of space to relax with a book, play a family card game, take a dip in the pool or hang out in the playroom. There's also a choice of restaurants (and bars!) on board, ranging from the informal Lido Cafe to a 3 Michelin Star restaurant. Don't think your kids would be up for fine-dining? The ship's childcare team will be happy to take the kids for food, while you enjoy a peaceful gourmet meal. Another nice touch on offer is their "Lie-in Service" - where one of the nannies will collect your children for breakfast and leave you to enjoy a little lie-in.

Families are welcome on all MS Europa sailings. For sailings within Europe, the minimum age is 8 months. For all other destinations, the minimum age is 2 years.

Facilities on board the MS Europa include:
- 15m indoor/outdoor seawater pool
- Whirlpool
- Fitness area with studio and fitness classes

- Playroom - with kids' club on selected sailings (see 'Childcare')

- Bike hire, snorkelling equipment, umbrellas and warm parkas to borrow (depending upon destination and availability)

- 5 restaurants, including 3 speciality restaurants, one of which has 3 Michelin Stars
- 5 bars and a cafe
- Live entertainment
- Wi-Fi (1 hour per guest per day or, for some suites, unlimited)
Baby Welcome Package: Let us know at the time of booking, and baby/toddler equipment can be provided free of charge. These include a changing bag with baby care products, disposable changing mats and bibs. In your suite, a changing mat, baby monitor, travel cot, baby bath, toilet training seat and nappy bin. In addition, they can provide nappies and wipes, powdered milk and baby food jars (variety of brands). The suite service can also arrange bottle sterilising and warming of baby food.

Accommodation
The cabins on the MS Europa are modern and comfortable, and all our 'outside', with either a window or a balcony. Cabin options include:
- Suites - sleep 3, with twin/king bed, sofa bed and big window.
- Veranda Suites - sleep 3, with twin/king bed, sofa bed and balcony. There are 14 Veranda Suites which can interconnect to the neighbouring suite to sleep up to 6.
Board basis: full board (including speciality restaurants) - breakfast, lunch, evening meals and snack times.
Total capacity: 400 passengers
The suites on the MS Europa are bright and modern, with interconnecting suites for bigger family groups.
Childcare
The MS Europa has a playroom for children and, provided there are 4 or more children age 4 years+, they provide a supervised kids' club with a programme of activities to suit the age groups. Activities may include things such as arts and crafts, a visit to the Bridge, pool parties and games.
Onboard, a babysitting service can be arranged on request (extra charges apply). Options include a 'late riser' service, where the nanny will collect the children at 8 am for breakfast, so you can have a lie-in. They can also provide evening supervision, taking the children to dine in the Lido Cafe, while you enjoy one of the speciality restaurants.
Children & Family Excursions
For families, on family-specific sailings, the MS Europa offers:
- Special children's excursions without parents
- Family excursions with parents
- Private family excursions
They also amend the kids' club hours to ensure there is the option of onboard childcare should parents want to go on an excursion without their children.
Location
The embarkation location for the MS Europa varies depending on the cruise itinerary and time of year. Flights, from a number of UK airports, can be included with your cruise. We can also add on pre- or post-cruise hotel accommodation if you'd like to explore the area before you board or after you return.
The MS Europa has a playroom with books, toys and games, and a kids' club on select sailings.
