Northern Lights Village Saariselka, Saariselka, Lapland

The Northern Lights Village Saariselka is a wonderful place for a winter family adventure. Set in the wilderness, close to the village of Saariselka, you can tailor your stay with your own selection of fun activities. There are huskies, reindeer, snowmobiles (for adults and kids), and you can even go in search of Father Christmas. This is a great area for cross-country skiing, and there is a small downhill ski area too (reached by shuttle bus).

In the heart of the Northern Lights Village, you'll find the hub of the hotel has its own restaurant and bar, along with an inviting log fire. The Village also has a spa area where you can relax in a traditional or glass-roofed sauna and hot tub before seeing who dares plunge into the outdoor ice pool!

At bedtime, you're home for your stay will be a partially-glazed cabin, where the glass is laser-heated to keep it free from snow, so you have a perfect view of the Northern Lights, should they appear; And if you want to be sure not to miss them, you can set the Aurora Alarm to wake you so you can enjoy the wondourous light show!

Stay in a magical Aurora Cabin and witness the Northern Lights from the comfort of your own room. The cabins are clad in wood, for a cosy feel, and have a partial glass roof to give you a view of the sky above. The cabins are located approx. 5 minutes walk from the hotel's restaurant and facilities.

Location

The Northern Lights Village Saariselka is located 27km from Ivalo airport. Flights are available direct to Ivalo from many UK airports during the Winter months or you can fly via Helsinki to Ivalo.

The hotel is located approx. 1000 metres from the main resort of Saariselka and a short shuttle from the main ski area.
