Neilson’s Messini Beachclub is a contemporary, modern complex in the rural southern Peloponnese region of Greece. Highlights include the long, unspoilt, sandy beach and great nearby mountain and road-biking.
Activity options on the water include water skiing, wakeboarding, windsurfing, sailing, kayaking and paddle-boarding. RYA tuition is included for sailing and windsurfing and the breeze and waves generally pick up in the afternoon to provide challenge for those with more advanced skills. On shore your family can select from varied road and mountain biking, tennis on seven courts, fitness classes, a climbing wall at the Beachclub or nearby rock climbing (for a supplement). There’s also a wellness area with a team of therapists. Kids can keep busy in one of several age specific kids clubs.
Breakfast and lunch are included each day, as are four evening meals. On other nights choose from dinner at the pool bar or at local tavernas along the beach.
The city of Kalamata is worth a visit for its bars and restaurants along the waterfront, as well as for a play or music performance.
