Valle dell'Erica Resort is a luxury family-friendly resort, situated in northern Sardinia, on a coastline dotted with pretty beaches in rocky coves. The resort consists of two hotels - the original Hotel Erica and the more recent addition, Hotel La Licciola.
The hotels share most facilities, and there is plenty to please both adults and children. Ericaland is the hub for the children, with clubs for each age group offering activities to suit. A highlight for the older one is Adventure Day, when they go off in kayaks to explore the coast and have a campfire on the beach. While the children are busy making friends, adults can relax and unwind in the Thalasso Spa, or perhaps enjoy some of the sports on offer - ranging from watersports to padel and volleyball.
The location of Valle dell'Erica is peacefully secluded, which is part of its appeal for many, and with so much on offer, you may be content to relax and enjoy the resort. If you do want to explore further, they offer a number of excursions, including across to neighbouring Corsida. Alternatively, we could arrange a hire car so you can explore at your own pace.
Of an evening, there are seven restaurants to sample, so you'll be spoilt for choice, and if you want, the childcare staff will supervise the children so you can enjoy an adult meal, and perhaps take in some of the live music in the central square afterwards

Accommodation
Rooms and suites at the Valle Dell'Erica have a calm and luxurious feel. Choose between the original Hotel Erica, which has a more traditional feel, and the more modern Hotel La Licciola, which is a little more contemporary. Some options for families include:
- Junior Suites (Erica, Mirtilla, Licciola) - sleep 2 adults, 1 child and 1 infant or 2 adults and 2 children, in a double room and open-plan living area with sofa bed. Interconnecting suites and sea views also available.
- Suite Erica Sea View - sleep 2 adults, 2 children and an infant, in a double room plus a living room with sofa bed (sliding door between).
- Family Suite Erica Sea View - sleeps 4 plus up to 2 infants and consists of 2 connecting Superior Sea View Rooms, each with a double or twin beds and an ensuite.
- Family Suite Mirtilla Sea View - sleeps up to 8 and consists of a Mirtilla Junior Suite connected to a Classic Suite.
- Family Suite Licciola Sea View - sleeps up to 4 plus 2 infants, and consists of 2 connecting Licciola Superior Rooms.
- Senior Suite Sea View - sleeps up to 6 plus 2 infants, and consists of interconnected 2 Licciola Junior Suites.

Childcare
This might be a spa resort, but that doesn't mean children are forgotten - they will love Ericaland. Here you'll find lots of space to play, inside and out, including an adventure park, a cinema space, a craft area and pool. Clubs on offer include:
- Baby Club - for children 2-3 years, with age-appropriate games and entertainment, cared for by qualified childcare team
- Young Club - for children 4-9 years, with activities such as sports, crafts, making pizza. Optional lunch and evening meal supervision.
- Mini Club - for children 10-13 years, with activities such as snorkelling, kayaking, football, padel, golf, volleyball, plus their legendary Adventure Day (see below). Indoor gaming also available (Nintendo Wii, Play Station, X Box).
Adventure Day: Children paddle off with the Mini Club team, to explore the coast, just like Robinson Crusoe, ending up on a beach with a campfire under the stars.
Location
Direct flights to Sardinia are available from a number of UK airports. The closest airport is Olbia. Valle dell'Erica Resort is about a 1hr transfer from the airport. Car hire is recommended if you want to get out and explore, but transfers can be included if you just want to relax and enjoy the resort facilities, and the excursions on offer from there.
The Adventure Day is a highlight for older kids - a day kayaking and dinner on the beach.
