In a lovely coastal location, this stylish all-inclusive Algarve resort is one of Club Med’s most highly rated properties, with great staff and food (including plenty of healthy options) and easy access to a child-friendly, white-sand beach. Rooms (in three linked hotels, one of them a golf hotel) have bright, funky decor.
A great choice for active family holidays in Europe, Club Med Da Balaia has childcare for ages four months to 17 years, plus a whole range of interesting activities including a flying trapeze and circus skills school. In addition to the main pool, there's an adult-only natural swimming pool in the Zen zone, along with a spa.
With many guests being French, it helps to have a smattering of French or Portuguese, although all staff speak English.
